When i heard Microsoft would be having a parade for Forza Horizon 2, I was excited to spend the day driving around Dubai's iconic locations in one of the many super-cars we had available.
The day kicked off arriving at the Microsoft office in Media City where we were briefed on the day's activities as well as the opportunity to brush up on our driving skills in the Forza Horizon 2 pods. Later on in the day we headed to the auditorium for a full briefing from the Gumbal 7 Club on rules and regulations for the drive.
I had been given the Lamborgini Gallardo Performante to drive in the parade which kicked off from Media City and down to The Walk at JBR, followed by a convoy to Dubai World Trade Centre and around to the Burj Khalifa. We then headed over to Hard Rock cafe in Dubai Festival City to conclude the event and announce the social media competition winner. All in all I'm not sure how many of you have driven around town in a convoy as its hard work keeping everyone together in a group while keeping on track to reach your destination on time. Being in the Lambo was an amazing experience and while I can't imagine when and if I will be able to own such a car, I will definitely be playing some more Forza Horizon 2 to relive the experience.
