Bungie has announced that Xur, Agent of the Nine, will remain in the
Tower with his special holiday wares until Monday at 10 p.m. PST.
On its blog, Bungie said that they'll be watching the "overall situation," and will prolong the extension, "as needed, for as long as is feasible."
Citing connectivity problems that plagued Xbox Live and PlayStation Network over the holiday, Bungie extended Xur's holiday offerings. The extension comes to make up for the fact that many Destiny players were unable to play the game during the attacks that flooded Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
After the extension wraps up, Xur will return to his regular schedule with a refreshed inventory of Exotic items and weapons.
